OUT OF THE SHADOWS
16-Week Sexual Addiction Recovery Task Group

Join a structured, confidential support group following Patrick Carnes's acclaimed "Out of the Shadows" workbook. This comprehensive 16-week program provides a safe, therapeutic environment for individuals seeking recovery from compulsive sexual behavior and addiction.

Participants will work through Carnes's evidence-based framework with additional time for deeper exploration and integration. The extended format allows for thorough processing of the addictive cycle, developing healthy coping strategies, and building a strong foundation for lasting recovery. Each weekly session combines guided workbook exercises, group discussion, and peer support in a non-judgmental setting.

The program addresses core recovery themes including acknowledging powerlessness, understanding trauma connections, developing accountability systems, and creating a sustainable recovery plan. The additional weeks provide enhanced focus on relapse prevention, relationship rebuilding, and long-term recovery maintenance.

Format: Weekly 90-minute group sessions
Size: Limited to 8-10 participants
Facilitator: Licensed therapist with addiction specialization
Requirements: Pre-group consultation and commitment to attend all sessions

This group is ideal for individuals ready to take serious steps toward recovery in a supportive, structured environment. The extended 16-week format allows for more gradual progress and deeper therapeutic work. All participants must obtain their own copy of the "Out of the Shadows" workbook prior to the first session.
